
MarketPower is driving print management and collateral management systems for a growing number of UK marketers, among them LA Fitness.
It is also finding many other uses. For example it was the tool that allowed Play.com to invite customers to create personalised Spiderman 3 posters to promote the launch of the DVD. Plus, it is being used to distribute personalised induction and training materials for HR departments and to maintain supplies of crucial forms and literature in different locations for non-profits.
Fit for purpose
Comprising over 88 health and fitness facilities, the LA Fitness network generates huge demands for collateral – flyers, posters, pens, balloons, door drop materials and press advertisements.
Working with the company we assembled a database of editable creative templates for a wide variety of communications pieces. These are uploaded into the system and instantly accessible by any authorised user via a secure website.
Many templates feature areas that clubs can edit as required – eg. for their address, opening hours or localised promotions. Users then place an order to have printed materials produced and delivered or online campaigns deployed.

MarketPower lets LA Fitness clubs personalise marketing material without having to create individual artwork. Quantities are flexible so that each club can order as few – or as many – items as they need.
Built-in reporting lets regional managers review recent club orders and analyse the effectiveness of local campaigns.
Most orders are placed over an agreed order cycle creating longer print runs for more effective pricing. When the cycle ends, orders are despatched and produced within a few days.
Urgent materials can be ordered on a quick turnaround basis and despatched to an agreed schedule.
